B-and-Bee colonies provide fun eco-friendly camping pods for music festivals
Common in Europe, summer music festivals usually gather a large audience in open spaces, in which it is also very common to camp during the event. Thinking of a way to make this a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for those attending the festivals, Achilles Design and Business Consultancy One Small Step developed B-and-BEE colonies, produced and operated by social entrepreneurs at Compaan and Labeur.
As suggested by their appearance, B-AND-BEE stackable pods have their geometry inspired by bee hives and can stack up to four floors, comfortably accommodating up to 50 people. In addition, each module has an adapted King-sized bed, storage space, lighting and other features, making them a much better option than those uncomfortable tents we are all used to.
